Character Illustration & Simple Flash Invite 2011
My mate’s wife approached me to tackle his 30th invitation. I decided that Sinan’s ‘Arabic country gent’ look was the perfect focus for the invite and set about drawing a caricature of the man. I then inked it up and recreated it in Illustrator, before adding the final touches and simple flash animation. Wedding Invite 2011
This design originated from the bride & groom’s desire to have an old style boxing poster design on the invite to their wedding in London’s East End. This distressed red and blue typography design gave their big day a theme that ran through the relevant printed artwork from the table numbers, the seating plan, and the order of service. Hopefully it added something to what was an incredible evening in many different ways.
